This must be the place
As one enters Lina Bo Bardi's factory shed at SESC Pompeia from Rua Clélia the space welcomes you with the temperament of someone dressed in their Sunday best and reading the newspaper, only momentarily lifting their eyes to invite you to join in the leisureness.
A building unfussed about giving you the grand architecture tour through revelatory passages. A building that lays all its surprises on a tray, a whole landscape of them, and lets you pick the yellow brick road - or the pebbled laid river - you want to discover.

An architecture that respects the history of the grounds and weaves that thread through the design, while managing to invent unpretentious understated surprises.

One room - one building - a summary of the types of gestures and intentions that will drive design.
